Year5/6 were fortunate to have been invited to be a part of Wally Hall’s Science week, themed “Invention and Discovery”. Upon arrival the children were led into the library where they took part in a game, matching inventions to dates and countries. They did a carousel of activities looking at different inventions. They made their own fingerprints, sent morse code messages, looked at pulley systems, thermal colour changing paints and even had time in a photography lab developing their own prints. It was a great afternoon enjoyed by all. Thank you Wally Hall Science Department.
