Remembering

Class 1 stood in silence and paid their very grown-up respects at the war memorial in Sevenoaks today. They each laid their poppies beside the memorial.

We saw some soldiers near Waitrose. They told us about soldiers who died fighting for our country. We walked to the war memorial where we put flowers down. Then Daniel put a stick (poppy cross) in.
