Darkness fell and so back to school came the pupils of Reception, bubbling with excitement. Dressed in their pyjamas and dressing gowns whilst clutching their favourite nightime toys, they were welcomed by teachers dressed in their own nightwear.
The children were treated to two different stories inside classrooms that had been transformed to exciting, twinkly storytelling places.
Joining back together, everyone enjoyed a drink of milk and a biscuit before cleaning their teeth with ‘brand new’ toothbrushes.
Songs were sung and the children left, sleepy but happy, aglow with lovely stories and taking with them reflective badges and new stories to be read.
