Year 2 began the year with a memorable outing to London, encompassing many of the famous landmarks and sights. Here is Year 2 pupil Griff’s report on the trip:
On Wednesday I went to London and travelled on a train.
First I went to Trafalgar Square. I saw Nelson’s Column and there were two fountains and four huge lions. Next I saw Buckingham Palace. It was enormous. The famous Queen lives in Buckingham Palace. Later we saw the Houses of Parliament. There were four policemen guarding the gates. One of the policemen had a gun.
After that we saw three guards, two of them were on big brown horses. We had a photo with them.
We wrote postcards of our trip and posted them to our parents.
