Jeans for Genes Day

St John’s will be taking part in this year’s ‘Jeans for Genes’ Day this
Friday 7th October.

Jeans for Genes is the national charity raising money for children with genetic disorders, to fund the care and support they need now and the research which could change their futures.

Genetic disorders affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK that’s more than 30,000 babies born each year.

Pupils and staff are invited to wear their jeans on this Friday 7th October to help Jeans for Genes reach its target of £2.6 million. We’d like everyone to take part so please send your child into school on Friday wearing their jeans and with £1 donation. (Please note that school jumpers/cardigans/ties must be worn as usual, this is not a home clothes day.)
