Book week began with an eye catching and persuassive assembly encouraging the children to read a variety of books.
Tuesday saw the children in Ks2 sharing their favourite books with Ks1. Everyone loved this storytime together.
Wednesday was story time again; this time our mums came in for an early Mothers’ Day celebration and shared their own favourite children’s books with their children.
Ks2 were delighted to meet local author Eleanor Prescott (a parent) who spoke about her experiences as an author. Children were fascinated to hear about her experiences at school which led her down this career path.
We are going to finish the week by dressing up as our favourite book character.
